The Fuquay-Varina Growers Market (FVGM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, operating under Sownhay Inc., cultivating and supporting partnerships between local farmers, producers, artisans and the public. The Growers Market is committed in providing an inclusive, equitable, and safe-space regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or social economic status.

About our market:

• 650 average Saturday attendance, with a total 16,1K for 2024 season.

• Large sponsor banner hung during our season on side of Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce building.

• Conveniently located at 121 N. Main St. in Fuquay-Varina in the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce parking lot.

• 22-26 vendors each Saturday, guest nonprofits, kids activities, live music, and occasional food truck.

• Special events and programming including Senior Day and Summer Meal Program.

We would like to continue our work in 2025 and we have grown this season larger than we had expected. With that comes the need for more sponsorship dollars to keep us operating.

• Create Vibrant Community Events: Help us host family-friendly, safe, and engaging activities at the Market for all ages, including Senior Day, the Summer Meal Program, Kids’ Bike Safety, the Kids Craft Corner, raffles, cooking demonstrations, and more!

• Promote Education and Sustainability: Support our mission to educate the community about healthy eating, sustainable growing practices, and preserving local farms while combating food insecurity.

• Expand Access to Nutritional Support: Enable the FVGM to provide critical outreach through the EBT/SNAP program and other initiatives, offering essential nutritional assistance to low-wage working families, low-income seniors, and people with disabilities.

• Strengthen Our Community Hub: Ensure the FVGM’s continued growth as a vital part of our community and a unique attraction in downtown Fuquay-Varina.
