Gabor Farms*

Gabor Farms is composed of retired veteran couple Tanya and Clarence DuBois. We inherited the family farm in the mid 2000 and set out to modernize and find a niche crop to increase the visibility of the farm. During our search for the right crop we came across mushroom farming and instantly fell in love.

It has taken three years to modernize the farm and expand mushroom production. Our Farm now includes hydroponics, high tunnels, and low tunnels. We grow companion crops and fruits that enhance the mushroom experience.

Visionary Microgreens*

We grow several varieties of microgreens. Most varieties have a short growing cycle and will be harvested 8-12 days from when we sew the seeds. The first several days of the seed's life are spent covered up with another tray and weighted down. When the seed first sprouts in this condition, it has to push its roots down and work hard to send the stem upward. These growing conditions make the stems stronger and the plant heartier. (A tray of Black Oil Sunflower seeds in germination will lift up the tray with the 15-pound weight!) Once the seeds are out of the covered germination phase, they are put under growing lights and watered every day until they are ready for harvest. We usually deliver our products hours after harvesting. That way, they are as fresh as possible. Your container of microgreens is happiest in the refrigerator around 37-39 degrees Fahrenheit - cold but not where they may freeze! Under these conditions, your micro-vegetables should stay fresh for 7-14 days.

Hidden Acres Farm*

Hidden Acres Farm is a small family farm in the northern part of Franklin County. We raise 100% grass-fed and finished beef and pastured poultry. We strive to provide meat from animals raised the way God intended - slowly, humanely, and as close to their natural habitat as possible. We use regenerative practices such as rotational grazing to take care of our land and keep our animals happy. We jokingly say we are not "cattle farmers", but "grass farmers". We grow the grass so the animals can grow the meat.

Our cattle and sheep are raised on only grass and are never fed any grains - this allows them to grow slowly and create a delicious flavor that you just can't buy at the grocery store. Our chickens are raised on pasture as well and are moved daily. This allows them to eat fresh grass and bugs every day. Our chickens eat a locally grown, non-GMO feed that keeps them functioning well.

Oven Lovin’ Treats

Oven Lovin' Treats is passionate about all things baked. Our specialty includes cinnamon rolls, a variety of breads, and the unique brookie. Baking is not just a hobby for me; it's a passion. As a math instructor with a fondness for Geometry, I initially ventured into baking by creating cakes in imaginative shapes, such as shoes and sandcastles. Eventually, my culinary journey led me to explore yeast-based recipes, particularly enjoying the process of making cinnamon rolls and diverse types of bread. If it's a baked treat you're after, Oven Lovin' Treats has got you covered.

Kentucky 1871 Flowers

My name is Sheri and I am entering my 3rd year of commercial flower growing on my small plot (<1/4 acre) in rural Fuquay Varina, NC. I am originally from Kentucky, thus the name of my business and my slogan is "Kentucky roots grown well in North Carolina."

My first job out of college was working for a public accounting firm but I quickly realized my passion for entrepreneurship after our first son was born prematurely. I wanted desperately to stay at home with him but still contribute in someway to our household. Twenty-five years later and nearly 20 years as a successful franchised Jazzercise instructor, I have settled on growing flowers and sharing them with our community. As an alumni of

both the Floret and Gardener’s workshop commercial growing courses, I am finding so much joy in putting this knowledge into practice!

Jelly Fresh Flowers

Jelly Fresh Flowers is located on 2 and 1/3 acres halfway between Garner and Fuquay Varina, NC. William and Maggie moved onto the farm in April of 2022, along with our two young-adult children (built-in labor!). During the pandemic lockdown of 2020, Maggie realized that flower farming and floral design are where she wanted to focus her creativity. After two years of growing cut flowers on a small suburban lot in Garner, we needed more room and the hunt for land began. We are so happy to have found our place. We were micro-farming, and now we aren't! Maggie put the first seeds in the ground the day after the papers were signed.

Our goal is to provide high-quality local, fresh cut flowers for our customers and to local florists and designers. The most rewarding part of our business is bringing the joy of flowers to the people of our new community who love our flowers as much as we do.

Chasing Daughters Flower Farm

Chasing Daughter’s Flower Farm was established in 2023, with the sole purpose of spreading joy. The owner has had this dream for a while, but after an unexpected loss last year, she decided it was time to stop procrastinating and to start living. Although we are new to flower farming, we are excited to take all that we have learned and to share that with the community. We are natives of Fuquay-Varina, but now reside in Willow Spring, NC. We have two young daughters’ and when we aren’t growing flowers were busy chasing them around.

We own a small-scale cut flower farm. We love the showstopper Dahlias, Ranunculus, Sunflowers and Zinnias but also the simplicity of Queen Anne’s Lace and Persian Cress. Our growing season right now is from April to October. Our focus right now is growing for the season and offering boutiques. We’d love to gain knowledge and experience and ultimately open a U-Pick for the community and offer classes.

Healing Green Farms

Healing Green Farms is owned by Janie Dickens Squires, and is situated on 33 acres of an original 100 acre parcel that has been in her family almost 100 years. Janie spent over 20 years as an educator, special education advocate, and consultant before resurrecting the old greenhouse on her farm during the North Carolina Hemp Pilot Program as a licensed hemp grower. This was the beginning of our commitment to producing top quality, organic CBD products that are free of pesticides and other toxins. All our products are made with CBD "crude" that is certified organic and CO2 extracted (the gold standard for purity.). Our proprietary herbal formulations are created by a local homeopath who develops our topicals and herbal blends for us, then every bottle or jar of product is handcrafted by Janie herself. DIWyatt Design

DIWyatt Design came to fruition in the Fall of 2019 after tossing around the idea for a year or so. I started my small business making t-shirts with vinyl designs & eventually moved into wood art. My husband & I have always had a love for DIY with many home renos & he has always had a wood shop in every house we have owned. It wasn’t until 2020 that I became interested in creating my own art with wood. MK Prystal Designs - Micarridore Cards

My journey into creating greeting cards began when I struggled to find an appropriate card for my youngest son during his junior high years. This initial foray into card-making sparked interest among my friends, who soon requested custom cards for their own family members. Opting for a more personal touch over commercial options, I started crafting handmade cards for Christmas and birthdays. The positive reception from my family encouraged me to extend this practice to other holidays as well. Over time, my list of recipients grew to include friends, expanding the reach of my handcrafted greetings.

Special requests are always welcome!

Washed Up Creations and Things

Upcycled wine bottles are tumbled to create smooth, beautiful beach glass for the creation of the trees. I search estate sales / yard sales for jewelry to adorn the trees. Each tree is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Recycled wine bottles are tumbled to create smooth, beautiful beach glass, which is then assembled into a tree. Vintage & costume jewelry, beads, and lights adorn the trees. Each tree is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Sandy Joy Jewelry

Sandy Joy Jewelry began in March of 2024. Named after my grandmothers, Sandra and Joyce.

Permanent Jewelry is the process of having a chain custom fit and welded on. Rather than a clasp a jump ring is used to "join" the chain and then a professional jewelry welder is used to solder the jump ring closed leaving you with a seamless, "permanent" piece!

These can be made into rings, bracelets, or anklets. All chains, unless otherwise specified, are .925 sterling silver and 14k gold filled and will last several years with proper care and maintenance.
