Gabor Farms*

Gabor Farms is composed of retired veteran couple Tanya and Clarence DuBois. We inherited the family farm in the mid 2000 and set out to modernize and find a niche crop to increase the visibility of the farm. During our search for the right crop we came across mushroom farming and instantly fell in love.

It has taken three years to modernize the farm and expand mushroom production. Our Farm now includes hydroponics, high tunnels, and low tunnels. We grow companion crops and fruits that enhance the mushroom experience.

Visionary Microgreens*

We grow several varieties of microgreens. Most varieties have a short growing cycle and will be harvested 8-12 days from when we sew the seeds. The first several days of the seed's life are spent covered up with another tray and weighted down. When the seed first sprouts in this condition, it has to push its roots down and work hard to send the stem upward. These growing conditions make the stems stronger and the plant heartier. (A tray of Black Oil Sunflower seeds in germination will lift up the tray with the 15-pound weight!) Once the seeds are out of the covered germination phase, they are put under growing lights and watered every day until they are ready for harvest. We usually deliver our products hours after harvesting. That way, they are as fresh as possible. Your container of microgreens is happiest in the refrigerator around 37-39 degrees Fahrenheit - cold but not where they may freeze! Under these conditions, your micro-vegetables should stay fresh for 7-14 days.

Kentucky 1871 Flowers

My name is Sheri and I am entering my 3rd year of commercial flower growing on my small plot (<1/4 acre) in rural Fuquay Varina, NC. I am originally from Kentucky, thus the name of my business and my slogan is "Kentucky roots grown well in North Carolina."

My first job out of college was working for a public accounting firm but I quickly realized my passion for entrepreneurship after our first son was born prematurely. I wanted desperately to stay at home with him but still contribute in someway to our household. Twenty-five years later and nearly 20 years as a successful franchised Jazzercise instructor, I have settled on growing flowers and sharing them with our community. As an alumni of

both the Floret and Gardener’s workshop commercial growing courses, I am finding so much joy in putting this knowledge into practice!

Healing Green Farms

Healing Green Farms is owned by Janie Dickens Squires, and is situated on 33 acres of an original 100 acre parcel that has been in her family almost 100 years. Janie spent over 20 years as an educator, special education advocate, and consultant before resurrecting the old greenhouse on her farm during the North Carolina Hemp Pilot Program as a licensed hemp grower. This was the beginning of our commitment to producing top quality, organic CBD products that are free of pesticides and other toxins. All our products are made with CBD "crude" that is certified organic and CO2 extracted (the gold standard for purity.). Our proprietary herbal formulations are created by a local homeopath who develops our topicals and herbal blends for us, then every bottle or jar of product is handcrafted by Janie herself. Better Together Arts & Gifts

Our journey began about 10 years ago when I first discovered my passion for woodworking. I explored various forms—furniture, small projects, and more—but the moment I tried woodturning on a lathe, I was hooked. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion, and I initially gifted my creations to family and friends. Before long, they began requesting custom bowls and boxes, eager to purchase my work.

Most of my pieces are crafted from fallen trees that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill or as firewood. I also source wood from high-end woodworking scraps and reclaimed materials. Each piece undergoes a meticulous process of collection, drying, and turning—taking nearly a year to complete—but the results are always worth the effort. These handcrafted items make truly unique additions to any home or a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift.

My dedication to excellence is reflected in the meticulousness of my work, a quality that has garnered acclaim from my clientele for its pristine finish. This commitment to excellence and innovation underpins my vision to redefine crochet, making it appealing to a broad audience, including both adults and children. I am a self-described perfectionist, with a philosophy of offering only what I deem to be my finest creations.

My journey with crochet began over two decades ago, largely self-taught, initially crafting for personal enjoyment. Encouraged by the positive reactions to my designs and creations, I ventured into the marketplace with dMarie Designs, fueled by a desire to share my passion and unique take on crochet with others. - Facebook - Instagram @dmariedesigns_crochet

MK Prystal Designs - Micarridore Cards

My journey into creating greeting cards began when I struggled to find an appropriate card for my youngest son during his junior high years. This initial foray into card-making sparked interest among my friends, who soon requested custom cards for their own family members. Opting for a more personal touch over commercial options, I started crafting handmade cards for Christmas and birthdays. The positive reception from my family encouraged me to extend this practice to other holidays as well. Over time, my list of recipients grew to include friends, expanding the reach of my handcrafted greetings.

Special requests are always welcome!
