The Fuquay-Varina Growers Market (FVGM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, operating under Sownhay Inc., cultivating and supporting partnerships between local farmers, producers, artisans and the public. The Growers Market is committed in providing an inclusive, equitable, and safe-space regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or social economic status.

By becoming a supporter of the FVGM, you demonstrate a shared commitment to fostering a community that is economically, ecologically, and socially sustainable. Your support will help preserve farms, our local economy, and help those most vulnerable in our community with food insecurity.

We had a successful 2023 market season and we couldn't have done it without our supportive community, donors, and sponsors!

• We hosted 24-26 each Saturday, with 55 rotating vendors on roster.

• We ushered over 16,000 visitors in 2023 which helped drive visitors to downtown businesses.

• End of the season vendor sales : $151,000 (72%, Agri-producers; 11%, Specialty foods; 10%, Bakers; 7%, Artisans).

• $6,000 in Farm to Pantry purchases for a total of 4,000 pounds of produce donated to the FV Emergency Food Pantry, Operation Nahyelle, Pine Acres Community Center, and FV Homes for the Elderly.

• Senior Day - $5,000 donated by the community and local businesses which allowed us to give l150 seniors on fixed incomes $30 worth of market vouchers to purchase produce, proteins, and honey.

• Processed a total of $6,170 in SNAP/EBT and Double Bucks redeemed by food insecure families and seniors.
